She is the author of four popular books, all published by W.W. Norton. Her first book, Building Your Ideal Private Practice, is the best-selling book of its genre and has been reviewed as a resource that "should be the bible of any clinician." Her latest book, The Business and Practice of Coaching has been called "a voice of realism about the coaching profession."
Through her workshops and writing, she has become
a pioneer in the field of practice-building, helping non-business-oriented
professionals develop businesses that give them a high degree of integrity,
personal choice, and financial success. Lynn is on the faculty of CoachU, a
large coach training organization, and sits on the advisory board of Social
Work Today Magazine. Her articles on practice-building appear in national
magazines and she presents workshops internationally. She writes a monthly
email newsletter that goes out monthly to 5000 people. She received her MSW
from the University of Maryland and lives in Silver Spring, MD. She can be

Wendy is a teacher/trainer for the Private Practice Success Program and has taught the "Ideal Private Practice Teleclass" courses for the past several years. She presents workshops about practice building at national conferences, most recently in Maine, California, and Utah. She is a contributing author to The New Private Practice and co-author of, The Business and Practice of Coaching. Wendy is known for her sense of humor, combining lightness and wit with her business savvy.
